A FREE Patchwork & Poodles pattern! Yes!
Fun fact: When I was a kid I loved to collect fossils. It might have something to do with the fact that I was there when the Field Museum in Chicago unveiled SUE the T. Rex in 2000. So when I saw this adorable dinosaur-filled collection from Paintbrush Studio Fabrics, I just knew some dinosaur paws were in order.
Did you know The Field Museum paid $8.4 M for SUE, the most paid for any fossil at auction – ever!

I partnered with Paintbrush Studio Fabrics to bring you this awesome free pattern! The collection I used is Dinosaur Stories by The Tiny Garden. I love that this collection can work for both boys and girls. Indeed, there’s a purple and pink color-way for the dinosaur-loving girl in your life. (Can I get a HURRAH!??!!)

This pattern comes together easily and quickly. You make a lot of bear dinosaur paws, add some flair, and bam! Adorableness.

This pattern is written as a throw size and finishes at 51″ x 60″, but would be easy to scale it up or down to whatever size you wanted.

I had so much fun asking my favorite little dinosaur to help me out on a photoshoot. Oliver thought matching with this quilt was pretty cool, obviously.

Little baby feet and dino paws together… is there anything cuter? I think all that is missing is Riley’s little pudding paws to join in the mix! Unfortunately Riley thinks licking Oliver all over the face is currently a fun activity, and Oliver thinks otherwise, so right now we’re giving them both some space.
