Hi Eliane,
My first QAL! I’m excited! I’m going to be “GOOD”, do a pull from my stash, before heading over to my local quilt store to buy the rest of my supplies.
Alvina, the store owner, has managed to stayed open through the covid epidemic. Huge thanks to her.
Inkling is sooo pretty! You are a very talented lady.
Cheers, Donna
Hi Donna! I’m so happy you’re sewing along! I can’t wait to see your final pull!
So looking forward to this!
YAY!! Thanks Linda, it is going to be so much fun!
Excited.I have the perfect fabric.
YAY! I can’t wait to see!
Looking forward to hearing from you on the 25th!!
I got the pattern but am a little confused about the fabric. If I want to make the large throw, it calls for 16 FQ. Are they all supposed to be different? Then a coordinating background fabric, correct? Thanks!
Yes – large throw needs 16 fat quarters and background fabric.
This is my first QAL too! I got my pattern in the mail today……..super excited!!!!
YAY!!! Thanks for joining!
Hallo Eliane!
I am very much looking forward to this QALl. Although I have be part of QAL before I have never done one in this way so am a little apprehensive. I have my pattern and fabric waiting, very excited.

Hi Christina! I’m so happy you’re sewing along! Feel free to ask questions along the way!
This is my first quilt along as well! A little nervous about keeping up but very excited to try!
Don’t worry – go at your own pace, we’re here to cheer you on!
Hi there! I’m new here and hoping that it’s not too late to join in? I love how the pattern comes together, so clever!
Hi Trish! You can join in at anytime!
Hi! As I commented before, this will be my first quilt! I used to sew clothes for my kids when they were little, so I want to use fabric I already have.
Here’s my question .. the pattern lists 3 colors + 1 background. Obviously, though, you can use more than 4 fabrics. What are some guidelines for putting together multiple fabrics?
Hi Laura! Check out this video, it might help you in selecting fabrics: https://youtu.be/JwEhxQm7ENU
