I came up with this free motion quilting (FMQ) spiderweb design a couple of years ago, and it was one of the first blog posts I published. I wanted to quilt spiderwebs on my Halloween quilt but couldn’t find a tutorial anywhere detailing how to do this at home on my domestic sewing machine. I’m really pleased to have found a great design to share with all of you! I’ve updated the tutorial to include a video component because free motion quilting is often easier to do one you’ve seen someone else doing it.
See the full video below, and if you like this content, be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel for more! This spiderweb quilting looks great on a quilt, but it would also look lovely on a table runner, pillow, or trick-or-treat bag!
